What is something particularly unique about you?
I come from a family of 10 children that was involved in musical performances throughout my youth. Many of our performances had a connection to charitable organizations, which sparked my interest in the nonprofit sector.
How did you prepare for your career in accounting?
I earned a B.S. in Accounting at Cal State Fullerton, and was hired by WNDE upon graduation in 2008. In the years since, I have developed an expertise in preparing 990s for nonprofit organizations. In addition to my work with clients, I’ve also provided leadership for WNDE’s various philanthropic efforts within the community (we support a number of organizations by volunteering and with charitable donations). In fact, we were pleased to be recognized as an honoree at Orange County’s National Philanthropy Day this year!
What is your life like outside of business hours?
My husband and I welcomed our son in 2017. Keeping up with a one-year old keeps us very busy!
