Nonprofit Collaborative of Southern California (NP Collaborative) was founded in 2013 by nonprofit accounting specialist Janet Fohrman, founder and CEO of Fohrman & Fohrman. With a vision to help her growing nonprofit client base achieve greater stability across additional platforms, she reached out to top professionals in the nonprofit sector. Members were vetted and carefully selected and NP Collaborative was born.
The network of combined nonprofit knowledge represents key areas critical to a nonprofit’s organizational stability and sustainability including: Human Resources, Accounting, Legal, Fundraising, Insurance/Risk Management, Marketing/Public Relations, Information Technology, Transitional Management and Evaluation/Sustainability. Members meet monthly to discuss nonprofit trends and best practices in their combined support of hundreds of Southern California-based nonprofit organizations.
